Francesco Ragni is the founder and Managing Director of Londra Italia, and editor-in-chief of londraitalia.com, the leading news website for the Italian community in London.

He has +15 years of international commercial experience in the airline IT industry, having held roles as Marketing director within the Alitalia Group in Rome and as Head of Sales and Account Management Southern Europe for Sabre Airlines Solutions in London.

His professional roots are in management consulting, having worked for Accenture and Bain & Co in Italy on a variety of strategic projects in different industries, from Banking to Telecommunications.

Francesco is a recognised expert in the aviation and tourism industry. Since 2017 he is Director of the degree in Airline and Airport Management at Buckinghamshire New University, where he teaches Airline Marketing, Revenue, Strategy and Entrepreneurship. He is regularly featured by specialised aviation magazines as a leading thinker in the industry.

As an author, Francesco has written hundreds of articles and has been featured by mainstream media outlets both in Italy and the UK. He is also active pro-bono as a mentor to new startups with London-based Techitalia incubator.

Francesco holds a degree in Statistical and Economical Sciences from University of Palermo and an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management/ Erasmus University.
